Cosmophonic Kavari Limited Warranty & Service Policy

Cosmophonic Guitars warrants the Cosmophonic Kavari to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper care. This limited warranty applies to the original owner only and begins on the shipping date of the instrument.

Warranty coverage and service responsibilities are outlined below.

1. Inner Core (Primary Structural Component)

Warranty Coverage: Five (5) years against defects in materials and workmanship.

Covered:

• Structural failure of the inner core
• Cracking or warping caused by material or manufacturing defects
• Failure of threaded inserts or mounting points under normal use
   

Not Covered:

• Damage caused by overtightening bolts
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Damage caused by impact, misuse, neglect, or improper environmental conditions (extreme heat, moisture, or storage)
   

Warranty Coverage:
One (1) year against defects in materials and workmanship.

Covered:

• Structural cracking not caused by impact
• Finish adhesion failure (peeling or bubbling)
• Fitment issues between shell and core caused by manufacturing defects
   

Not Covered:

• Dents, dings, scratches, impressions, or surface compression
• Buckle rash, edge wear, or cosmetic damage
• Normal aging, patina, or wear from use
   

Roasted basswood is selected for its tonal qualities, low weight, and stability. Cosmetic wear is a natural and expected result of normal use and is not considered a defect.

Cosmophonic finishes are applied thin by design to preserve resonance.

Covered:

• Peeling, bubbling, or adhesion failure caused by manufacturing defects

Not Covered:

• Dings, dents, scratches, impressions, or checking
• Fading or texture changes over time
• Wear caused by contact, impact, or environmental exposure
   

Warranty Coverage:
One (1) year against defects in materials and workmanship.

Covered:

• Pickup or electronic component failure caused by manufacturing defects
   

Not Covered:

• Damage from rewiring, modification, or improper adjustment
   
• Damage caused by external electronics or power sources
   

Cosmophonic Guitars reserves the right to repair or replace electronic components at its discretion.

Warranty Coverage:
One (1) year against defects in materials and workmanship.

Hardware includes (but is not limited to) bridges, tremolo systems, tuners, fasteners, and mounting hardware. Manufacturer warranties may apply where applicable.

Normal wear, corrosion, and damage caused by misuse or modification are not covered.

• Customer is responsible for all shipping costs to Cosmophonic Guitars for warranty evaluation.
• All items must be shipped insured, properly packed, and with tracking.
• Cosmophonic Guitars is not responsible for shipping damage caused by improper packaging.
   

• If a warranty claim is approved, Cosmophonic Guitars will cover return shipping within the continental United States using a carrier and service level of our choosing.
   
• International customers are responsible for all shipping, customs duties, taxes, and fees both directions, even for approved claims.
   

• If a claim is determined not to be covered, the customer is responsible for:
• Return shipping
• Any applicable inspection, labor, or repair costs
   

Due to the modular design of the Cosmophonic Kavari:

• Individual components (front shell, back shell, electronics modules) may be serviced or replaced without returning the entire instrument.
• Cosmophonic Guitars may request only the affected component be shipped for evaluation.
• Replacement components outside of warranty coverage may be available for purchase, subject to availability.
   

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic damage
• Damage caused by accidents, abuse, neglect, or improper care
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Shipping damage
• Damage caused by improper storage or extreme environmental conditions
   

Cosmophonic Guitars shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use or lost income.

To initiate a warranty claim:

1. Email Cosmophonic Guitars with a description of the issue and photographs.
2. Provide original proof of purchase from Cosmophonic
3. Cosmophonic Guitars will determine whether return shipment is necessary and which components must be sent.
4. All warranty determinations are made at the sole discretion of Cosmophonic Guitars.
    

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary by jurisdiction. This warranty is non-transferable.
